I'd agree to that. Red is probably my favorite. I also LOVE the Power to Believe. Tongue

I'm thinking more along the lines of M&L 4, because according to the back of M&L 2 it's at least partially recorded on my birthday (June 4th) Big smile.

Same here, though I'd put it somewhere between Red and ITCOTCK, it's not quite as good as the first two IMO.

Perhaps. King crimson's albums are probably the hardest to rank of any band. At least for me.

Yeah, I always think I have my KC rankings figured out then realize I've left out something important (like Discipline) and find myself starting over again.  Magma gives me more trouble though, other than KA probably still being in first and Merci still being in last.

Edit: KA's position may be in jeopardy, but I've only had time to listen to E-Re once so far (too much new music Tongue) so I can't be sure.

It is easy to rank KC though,

Magma is pretty easy for me. I still like KA a lot more than E-Re.

I like a lot of their albums fairly equally, so it gets a bit tough.  Studio only would make it a tad easier, though with live included I know my guaranteed second or third place overall is Hhai/Live.

Oh yea, with Live albums included it'd probably be quite hard.

Especially for King Crimson if you somehow own all their live albums. LOL

I've got the Great Deceiver set (very good if you enjoy the Red/LTIA era), B'boom, and Earthbound. Dead  I'd say confidently that the Great Deceiver is miles ahead of the other two.  Nothing against B'boom, and nothing but the sound quality against Earthbound, but they don't stand a chance.

Mine lists almost everything I've heard from 2009...only thing that's left out is the live Return to Forever album.  Tongue
