Maybe you're thinking about the concert too. I would probably find it nicer than the album myself. Wink

Haven't heard much of the new music from 2009, being somewhat of a 70's snob. But I really liked Part of the Second by Maudlin of the Well, I was quite surprised by it actually. I'm looking forward to have a listen to Black Bonzo's new release as well (Guillotine Drama), I liked Sounds of the Apocalypse.

Actually, the concert provided my first audition of the album and I didn't like it much, it was very awkward. Maybe it happened because I was expecting something different, I don't know.

It was only when I started to listen the album on the studio recording that I started to like it. And it happened fast and totally. Now it's my favourite PT album, right up with Lightbulb Sun.

  1. The Thomas Tracks.....5Bridges (By large the best release of the year IMHO)
  2. Λmλhntλhtt-Rκ.......Magma (Not as great as KA, but still amazing)
  3. Out of the Tunnel's Mouth by Steve Hackett: Just got it,. but has climbed positions pretty soon.
  4. The Whirlwind.....Transatlantic (Surprise, great album by a band I never cared about)
  5. Progression by Failure......Progression by Faillure (Superb album that few noticed)
  6. Mundos Bizarros.....Flor de Loto (Each album is more solid han it's predecessor)
  7. The Form of the Good by Deluge Grander: Not as good as the previous, but still excellent.

Heard some more but don't remember them now, and the most expected one (The Incident) was a total disappointment for me.

Hmm, I haven't as of yet, you're saying they're similar.  I may have to check them out.

Thanks for the recommendation Mike.

^ The Nemo lyrics are in French, but I still enjoy it enough that it is in my Top 5 for the year.
