Feel free to post your thoughts and feelings about the album below, but this thread's true purpose is, as stated, to appreciate Ziltoid himself and all that he is.

All Devin Townsend fans should see this. This is absolutely hysterical.

Absolutely wonderful album that one. There´s a Thing-Fish feeling about the whole thing IMO.

One of the finest metal albums I've ever heard, in all truth. Really made me think about the genre more; that something could be so catchy, without losing its metal status, and be unbridledly hilarious to boot is quite a fantastic statement.

I was going to buy this today, but the CD store which said they had multiple copies didn't have any

I have eBay'd it though, so I should have it in 2 weeks or thereabouts

The album is great fun.

That interview with Devin-as-Ziltoid was pretty choice.  Reminds me of interviews with GWAR (except slightly more erudite).

It's pretty good. Somewhere in the middle of his discography, maybe leaning towards the bottom. But I do enjoy it.

I do like some Ziltoid. It's damn good stuff. The mix of bombastic metal and downright brilliant lyrics is what makes it. The thunderous intro track sums up the whole album, pretty much.

Devin is an eccentric genius, and it definitely shows on this album. It's absurd in just about every way possible, but I love it because of how absurd it is.

Apparently he's already announced plans of a sequel called Z2.  He hasn't even finished the DTP albums yet.  Quite a workaholic
