You can still see matches on the internet provided you have a very good internet connection. There are sites who take the TV transmission and put it live on the internet by a peer-to-peer system. You need a software called SopCast and a site where to find the matches you"re interested in, such as this one: http://myp2p.eu/competition.php?competitionid=&part=sports&discipline=football

The last Pope was a pretty good Goalkeeper (I think before he was pope).

Years ago they actually organized a Vatican national team, made up of young officiers and guards that work in Vatican City.... they only played one game and lost  Infinite - Nil  against San Marino... Ouch LOLLOL

Barcelona-Real Madrid was so damm dissapointing... It's hard to believe there were a thousand million dollars on the pitch.

Myself I can't understand the hype. Everybody was saying it's the most important El Clasico since long time ago...

I read a report about a 'Priests League' in Italy, where clergy representing their respective parish teams participated against each other. In addition to the normal red and yellow cards available to the refs, they had an extra 'blue card' which indicated the errant player had to visit a 'sin bin' to cool off for a while.

That's if you don't count Germany - England 1-5 from 2001 if I'm not wrong.

On the other hand we saw this artistic work this week-end here (and I'm not a supporter of Palmeiras).

I loved the Bayer Leverkusen video (where the keeper takes the penalty, scores, then concedes from the kick off cos he's still miles off his line) Goalies have no business taking penalties, fee-kicks etc it's just plain ego massage (e.g. Rogerio Ceni of Sao Paulo)

i dunno about that - Paraguay's Chilovert had a certain something about him - ie he didn't miss many penalties and was a great character off the pitch (from what I've read and seen anyway). A couple of EPL clubs tried to sign him just for the entertainment valueTongue

I would like to add that Chilavert was a real leader in Velez Sarsfield and Paraguay. I don't have anything against goalkeepers trying to score.

This one is was unforgettable: Boca Juniors ( With Maradona & Caniggia) vs Velez Sarsfield ( South American and World Champion at the time). Chilavert against Navarro Montoya , the best pair of goalkeepers from the 90's.
