Not that you make me sick, I was just quoting the poll choice (to explain my words a little bit)

USA is by my opinion one of the most, or maybe the most influential country in the world. Their influence reach very far.

We're small country, just 10 million people and so, no one is so big then, so famous. Of course, there is always rush about annual mutation of Czech Pop Idol (called Superstar).

And there were idols even I can remember,  like Avril, Britney, these not-so-nice-name-for-them-I-have "girls". 

BUT, and this I think sums it up pretty nicely, nothing so big that it would be nationwide phenomenon.

And to those who say that we're just jealous of her success, I can tell this. This is prog site, right ? Prog - (add anything you want) is quite underdog genre, only for some, not everyone. Pop is for everyone, it's his meaning.

And as recent study (by someone here on PA) showed, Prog wasn't famous (Billboard top) even in 70's.

She's famous, it's part of thing, she's one of the most listened artists in the world I suppose. This does not mean that she's good, no way.

*sigh* They are legal (well, I think as I don't pay enough attention to them to know their age) in NZ, but still... They don't really look it. Once Selena grows up a bit I bet she'd be quite hot, but at the moment I, at 18, wouldn't want to go there. I'll still vote though because i just hate Cyrus with such a passion

Party in the USA is one of those songs that defines a generation. A generation which that song makes me proud to be a part of.
