Finally got Cult of Luna's Fire was born DVD. I wished more post metal/sludge bands used crazy lighting like they do!
Sorry about my recent scarcity, swimming is killing me. Harry, can we be brothers too? I kind of have a charming Texan accent

Was that sarcastic? That song is not new at all. It has been on Toby Driver's myspace for ages. Over 3 years, in fact. Where did you hear it was going to be released as a Kayo Dot song?
This, however, is new: http://www3.timeoutny.com/newyork/thevolume/2009/10/listen-now-new-music-from-kayo-dot-exclusively-on-the-volume |

I'm slowly moving into my Cult of Luna and Toby Driver love again, listening to Gregor Samsa right now as a matter of fact.
Anything groundbreakin in the post rock/metal/math rock world? I've been a little disappointed with the scene with the last month or so.
Also the Ocean collective are due TWO albums next year. Looks like 2010 is gonna be bitchin'!

^ Well nothing ground breaking, but these bands "Kepzelt Varos" and "En Plein Air" are pretty kick ass, and of course, Toe's new album will be out in only a couple weeks.

Nothing spectacular lately. yesterday i heard good stuf Mountains Among Us - True North ,mellow post metal with ambient feeling, not bad. Arctic Plateau - On A Sad Sunny Day post rock, not bad. i got all albums by Wang-Wen and it is very good chinese post rock. new Junius - The Martyrdom Of A Catastrophist was pretty good, but i still think their s/t was the best so far. DeadBird - Twilight Ritual is exceptionaly good.. get it ..sludgy post metal .. A Storm Of Light - Forgive Us Our Trespasses is nice, i like it. now i'm listening Aussitot Mort - Montuenga , screamo/post hardcore/post metal/post rock , so far so good.

A two and a half minute clip of "Svefn-G-Englar" by Sigur Ros was played during the 4th episode of "V." It made me happy.
