Hahaha, I see that I have become a PA superstar. How flattering.

I always associate avatars with people, to the point that it's unsettling when someone who has had one for a long time changes it, and on larger forums where I don't know everybody I often can only recognize the avatar of some poster.

I actually have a picture of myself I was planning to post, but if the people would rather not see my face then so be it.

It would be weird if you changed your avatar, in fact, it is almost always weird when people change their avatars, it means I have to actually read their name to see who it is.

As with all pre-89 music, emo was once actually something good that's now been debased by modern usurpers. Dig classics like Rites of Spring and Embrace for an example of this phenomenon.

Mr. Plainview... I think you should not change your avatar, I swear I cannot imagine you not being a gangster... please, don't change it, the same to CPicard... I was thinking on changing mine... but don't know what to put... maybe I playing keyboards or guitar... not sure... the girls are taking my place too much..!!!

Whenever I see WalterDigsTunes, I see a Frank Zappa that hates all post-1989 bands.

Oh, and yes, I am starting to associate avatars with the real people. Do any of you associate me with an extremely happy boy giving a "Peace" sign from a video game?

Yeah, I do associate the avatars with the people. I can't imagine seeing any of you outside the internet. I always think of people using computers as people that don't do anything outside of the computers if you know what I mean.

I am ACYL, that is about it really. No real drug connotations, just something that reflects my taste in music. I used to be the Up The Downstair cover, but that is now in my sig.

Yes, I do make the same association.

I noticed that quite some PA veterans used to change their avatars like they changed their socks, but after a few years stuck with one avatar or returned to an old avatar. I'm not inclined to change mine often either.

I changed mine recently to Captain Obvious after having a couple of comments made regarding my obvious responses. I think that it is the 5th or 6th different avatar that I have used during my time here. I'm sure I'll probably change back to something Rush-related eventually.
