It looks awfully cardboard-ish... Langella must really have been paid well to wear that... Tongue

The avatar reflects a part of the member's personality, that's a fact. Nobody picks an avatar that has absolutely no relation whatsoever with any concscious or subconscious part of his/her self. So I would guess it's partially valid to attach the avatar to the person. In the end, it's the only image of themselves than most of the members allows us to see.

Even no-avatar avatars like Harry's (Petrovsk) say something... that's obvious. Even when it's just the selection of something that you enjoy like a particular album, it's still saying a lot about what you choose to represent yourself..

..so if we imagine Epignosis as Skeletor, we might think he's trying to conquer the world! Tongue(which may be true from a musical point of view)... Or maybe he just finds it ridiculous (the movie was awful) but it still says something...

By the way, I also associate members with their avatars.. Sometimes when I see an actual photograph of a member and I see their real faces I'm like surprised they don't resemble their avatars.. (even if it's a thing... LOL)

I associate my avatar with my cat. So if anyone associates my humble person with it, he or she isn't very wrong, but still wrong.

Over time, I have (perhaps subliminally) come to think of PA members as somehow resembling or embodying their avatars. Is this just me or is it a phenomenon noticed by anyone else ? e.g I sometimes think Epignosis is the guy behind that skull mask or that Dean has one huge psychedelic eye or Tony R is a biped horse or that Henry Plainview might actually look like a suited gangster ?

So, am I in need of counselling or can some suitably erudite member explain this psychological erm... anthropomorphism ?

BTW For the sake of clarity I am not really a furry scottish rodent (on the outside)
