No, they really have to want to enjoy it so, if they can't take it, well, is their problem... I know a lot of people who don't understand the music that we play with my band but they don't disrespect us... they just don't "get it" and I can live with that... as long as they don't take us as a joke because our music is very serious... but let them be... If theyr'e happy with their thing, well, sorry for them...

So is it stupid of me to still get upset when people complain about my music?  I'm sitting here listening to Can's "Ege Bamyasi" and the kid from across the hall yells to his friend "There's always music coming from that room...too bad it's not good music!"  and then as he's leaving, peeks his head back out from the stairwell and says "Too bad it's not music at all!"  Especially annoying since all he listens to is the newest gangsta rap, Miley Cyrus and other "music" which just fits the mold of the current "boring, repetitive, uncreative" wave. Angry
