Have somebody here played The Simpsons: Hit & Run ? When playing Bart character, you can notice music there, it's by my opinion casual rock that youngsters listens.

Bart is average rock listener.

There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

I don't have so much respect for Bart since I've saw this episode Man (of mystery)

Lisa listening to Davis Miles, that's nice idea.

Don't forget that in one episode, Bart is big HIP-HOP fan, admires it so much that he has various troubles because of it.

I started listening to Grand Funk because of that!!

Lisa IS a free jazz fan so prog is probably too mainstream for her. Comic Book guy must be a prog fan for sure (Symphonic or Prog Metal)

Which was the Bart/DT episode , does anyone know?

Yeah, Homer listens to/likes classic rock a lot. Can you see the irony of that?

Mona Simpson (Homer's mom) is canonically a Jimi Hendrix fan. I also imagine that her old friends Seth and Munchie could be big fans of Ozric Tentacles. Cool

One of those elusive prog-loving women we've all been wondering if they existed???

I can see these two talking about being Zappa groupies back in the day.
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.
