I bought a Sony VAIO for around $800 last week at Best Buy. It has an LED screen and is Blu-Ray compatible. I'm not into games though so I am not certain how well it work with games.

I'd be willing to spend over $800. My last one cost like $1400 and is sh*t (I'm probably going to sit on the phone with tech support for a few hours before I buy a new one, maybe there's just something stupid going on). And my room doesn't have the space for a desktop.
The guitar was kind of boring, but I support this for the reaction people randomly flipping channels must have had.

Henry, if you were to buy a new laptop, what is your budget? Most gaming capable laptops are going to be $800 and up. Or you can spend $500 on a desktop and have a cheap laptop for school or travel.

I would have gotten the new one at the concert but it was $20, and I didn't find his harpsicord+chiptune thing he did at the concert very interesting although I'm sure it was extremely difficult to pull off.
jampa, I do not think you are understanding what we are saying. Perhaps.....we need....more...ellipses?

no, I don't know who that is but I like the sound of that sort of experiment!
i am pretty conservative with ze chip music, just making it with tools that other people have made and have been using for decades. no attempt at anything technological

Hmph! I never tell people I do that.
You cannot steal music because you can't steal the sound waves through the air, so, bassically is safe...
but you can play someone's intellectual property without purchasing the right to do so.
Stealing.
So, I suppose to pay each time I hear a song on a public event like a party if I don't have the original album... right...??? silly...!!! That's not stealing... if you get an original copy of an Album, that's stealing, you can hear a song that one person send you without breaking the law..!!!

Huh. Sometimes I wonder if you're completely here...
Have you ever heard Tristan Perich? I saw him in NYC, and I wasn't much of a fan but you might like him. He has 2 CDs called One Bit Music and One Bit Symphony, and both of them are a computer chip in a CD case that you just plug your headphone into to listen. I like the idea at least.

well probably because it was the leftovers from the Toxicity recordings
I couldn't live without Innervision or Streamline though.
Yes, I don't really consider it a proper album like the rest, even though I think the band somewhat does. With its poor four and a half stars it would be a nasty stain in their discography.
Chic 'n' Stu, Mr. Jack, I-E-A-I-A-I-O, Roulette, and so on, all great. I was just drumming along with my Ipod on shuffle and Chic was one of the songs that came up, that was fun.
