I was a little unimpressed by Florence.
Though Bat For Lashes are more my cup of rosie-lee and I've liked what I've heard of The Yeah Yeah Yeahs but probably not enough to buy an album.

I went for an audition with a new band yesterday. I arrived to find that the guitarist owned a small mansion with a rehearsal/recording studio housed in a purpose-built "outhouse" (which is only slightly smaller than my house). Loads of equipment, I don't even have to take my amp. I think my Warwick bass persuaded them to hire me before I even started. Still can't believe my luck.

That reminds me of one of the lines from Money For Nothing What are you/they called? And can I get a rare white label to sell for godzillions in an unscrupulous manner in about 20 years time?

A white label? The best you'll get is a rare MP3 these days.
