Yeah , my pockets still hurt but I've realized that I'd rather spend big money in records I really like (such as the ones above) instead of buying cheap records just because they appear on the site (Coheed & Cambria and Sigur Ros were two major dissapointments)

I 've seen that in an older post you stated that you couldn't get into Metallica and Iron Maiden: Which records have you heard?

None specifically, but I've heard quite a big bag of tunes from each band and that's not really my thing, though I do realise that they're great musicians.

Metallica: way too heavy and un-melodic for me (their early, classic era)
Iron Maiden: some tunes are great, but I simply can't take various doses of Dickinson's voice. Also, I really can't stand the galloping-esque tunes.

Sounds like a great deal.  What were the Fates and Savatage albums?

I picked up my copy of BTBAM's The Great Misdirect today (the deluxe edition).

I got Perfect Symmetry (believe it or not I never had that before now) and FWX. From Savatage I got Gutter Ballet and The Wake of Magellan.

You should heard MoP and AJFA that was Metallica at their peak. And about Maiden , well there is not much I can do. Those are their main features , but you could try their first two records and "The X Factor"

After watching the excellent "Anvil; The Sotry of Anvil"

I picked up their new album- "This is Thirteen"

Not so much as I wanted to hear the music as I wanted to just help support the band. Call me crazy.....

Devin Townsend - Synchestra
Dead Soul Tribe - Murder of Crows
Sieges Even - Navigating by the Stars

All three albums I would have enjoyed early in my prog quest...and am enjoying now.
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.
