I GOT IT!!!

All I had to do was create the .bst file by typing latex makebst, then select yes, then copy the .bst file to the program files\miktex 2.7\bibtex\bst\natbib folder, then run texhash, then open lyx, select preferences/tex information and press update, then select natbib from the document settings, then create the bibliography and choose the new .bst file!!!!!!!!!!

But there's one problem: There's this article by David Lewis from 1976 that has been reprinted as a chapter of his book Philosophical Papers II in 1986. I'm citing the one in the book, but I'd like to cite it as an article, not as a chapter. If I cite it as a chapter, it goes like Philosophical Papers (in italics), etc. etc. 1986, chapter The Paradoxes of Time Travel, and then the pages. But obviously I'd like the title of the article first (in quotation marks), then the book, then the year and then the pages (and possible after the pages the original year 1976). But if I go to JabRef and put it there as an article, it asks for the volume of the journal, and obviously there is none because I'm citing it from the book. If I leave it blank there will be blanks and punctuation in strange places in the bibliography. What can I do about this puzzling dilemma?
