No More Ghost Editing

I`ve written about 10 bios for the site and just noticed that someone has been F******* around with the Jethro Tull bio. Not only did they change the photo but they f***** a lot of the grammar starting on the first line. I got a  journalist friend to go through it and now it`s going to take some time to correct the thing. I had the same problem with the KC bio a while back.

I took a lot of my free time to write those bios so if you think something`s not right contact me before you start srewing around with them. And it would be nice to have the original JT bio photo back. Stop playing GOD.

Yes. It`s a real mess and I don`t have the time right now to fix it up. I wish the person would own up to it. And I`m going to get the original photo put back as well.

No some things have been re-arranged commas taken away, inserted. It`s a freakin` mess and I think I got  everything right. I was shocked when I showed it to a journalist friend the other day who wants me to write an article for the Montréal Gazette ( completely unrelated to music ) I looked like a damned fool. Fortunately I could show her the other ones which are intact ( thus far ). As for the picture, it wasn`t  selected by myself but I agreed that the original one was entirely suitable. Why would someone just go in and change it. " Oh I don`t like the picture so I`m going to put my better picture in". Duh. And it`s not even a better picture. I came up with a better picture of John McLaughlin but I contacted one of the admins to get his take. In this case I doubt if this was done. I did the same for a few other artists. I noticed someone changed the Omega photo I selected to a lousier photo as well.

I dunno. When we do things like writing bios for the site we don`t get paid for it and put a considerable amount of work into it and some clown comes along and defaces it. It should be the author who makes any corrections if necessary. I`ve even made corrections to some of my reviews after being notified by PM.

I`m just a bit flustered. I wish they wouldn`t do this. The worst error has already been corrected but I`ll have to do the rest tomorrow. 

Always easier to just presume some wrong doing though, isn't it?
