Well I can understand Bear, Lion and Viking fans hating him while he was a Packer

As for other fans, I dont know...hate him because he was good? I honestly thought he was beloved by everyone until the last 2 years.

And seriously, vote JaMarcus Russell for the Pro Bowl! LOL

Why should Lions' fans hate Favre?  Just because we have never beaten the Packers in Green Bay since Favre became their quarterback, and we rarely beat them in Detroit?  The Lions hardly win any games anyways, so that is no reason to have Favre. LOL

How the hell should I know? He was your main rival?

I hate Tony Romo....but then again I would anyway LOL

And seriously people, go to NFL.com and vote for JaMarcus as many times as you can. He will make the pro bowl!

^^ Wasn't pretty, Eagles defense played very well jumped routes and looks like they had some tell tale signs when they were going to run .. so with Eli throwing some picks and not being able to run, Eagles pretty much just ran away with the game, hope your secondary recovers soon..

Yeah, thats been the killer. Our backups are pretty good, but when you have to play the Saints, Cardinals and Eagles (who might be the most explosive team of them all) its' not too good.

At least the Broncos lost. I have nothing against them, just this one guy who doesn't even like football who rags on every team and kisses the broncos ass, (and doesn't even watch of course)

And the Titans got a win!

Wooooo!

Anyway, Green Bay made a valiant comeback but they are just the lesser team. We all said the Vikings are perfect except for the QB position and now with Favre...

Also the Packers once great O-Line is just terrible. The Packers should be charged with assault for what they did to him! LOL

It's just about time for his injury though.  The question is......can the Vikings get to the Super Bowl if Tavares Jackson has to step in for the end of the season?

We'll soon find outLOL

Favre has never been hurt. Why would it happen now? Aaron Rodgers puts up pretty numbers but can't win. Favre goes out every season and win.

The 40 year old whose best years are beyond him has just bested Rodgers and the Pack twice this season. Favre is an old man and Rodgers is in his prime. Aaron Rodgers will always suffer in the shadow of Brett Favre.

So once again, all you Brett Favre haters can eat crow again....HAH!!!

Minnesota will battle New Orleans as the NFC's representative for the Super Bowl. Go Brett Favre and Minnesota ....woo, hoo!!!

Well, we can only assume he's been hurt over his career and last season we know for a FACT he was hurt. He just always plays through it is all. So why would it happen now? Well no guarantee, but I think it's fully reasonable that a 40 year old guy could get hurt. If it happens, how well will he play through it??

And just like last season Rodgers is NOT the problem. They're defense was off last year. It's a lil better this year it appears but I would like to see Favre play behind that O-line....you know the one that seems to let 2 or 3 linemen into the backfield every time....

Your comment was kind of childish, no offense....but ground your argument in logic not just HAHA! FAVRE IS OLD BUT RULES STILL! Rodgers sucks!
How can you say HE can't pull out wins? Put Brett back on the pack right now and I would bet he would  be playing injured right now....

The Line is bad, granted, but Rodgers holds onto the ball WAY too long. Favre has played with worse talent and won. Go ahead and look at that fine 92 roster when he 1st came aboard. He won 9 games with only Sterling Sharpe as support. Favre would get sacked on this line, but he has a quick release and an uncanny feel when the pressure is caving in. He wouldn't have half those sacks. Look throughout his career and you'll find a man with a great record who doesn't get sacked very often.

There is exactly 1 Hall of Famer Favre had the honour to play with. He would win behind bad teams. Detroit would probably have 3 wins with him now. Immature I may be acting, but only in response to reading the never ending BS you smearmasters keep rubbing. I call it retaliation and it was about time if you ask me.

When Rodgers wins more games than he loses, then we'll argue his merits, otherwise he is just another QB who puts up pretty numbers without the wins to merit the ridiculous adoration he seems to already have.

It isn't I who goes around wishing other people's favorite players to get hurt. So once I have taken the low road. Well someone had to and it may as well be me.

OK seriously dude you need to just chill out. Retaliation? Smearsters?
All this on a MUSIC forum.....just relax.
And I hear all that, but Favre would not do this well on the current Packers. Its all about the team man. Yeah the Lions may have 3 wins under Favre but he wouldn't be a legend..... You can only do so good with the people around you. Favre success, and the Packers under him go hand in hand and could not be without the other.

Anywho, I KNEW you would bring up the whole "he holds the ball too long" thing, everyone does... What can the guy do? If you have 2 or 3 linemen crashing in on you you could dump it off quickly but that's dangerous, in Rodgers case he waits as long as he can, sometimes takes the sack, but he's getting as much time as possible....
I find it funny that Rodgers "holds the ball too long" but Big Ben who holds onto it long and gets the sh*t knocked out of him is some god for being so tough....

Anyway, I see where this is gunna head so I'm ducking out now...
I'll leave with this. Favre is a legend, top 10 QB of all time. But its still all about the team around you. I think Rodgers has played as well as you possibly could, and has done DAMN good. But with a mediocre defense in transition, and terrible O-Line (which doesn't let you set up the run either) he's done all he can.
Besides he'll only be under his shadow as long as people want it to be that way.....for me the Favre era is OVER. I coulcn't give a crap how he compares to Rodgers all that fun stuff. He's a Viking. End of Story. The only shadow Rodgers is playing under is that of the stadium as far as I'm concerned...

One of the announcers spelled it out correctly about the Packers, they are failing to make the protection adjustments that are necessary, keeping a back in here a chip there... They keep steam rolling along with their one on one protection scheme that's obviously not working.

I was also glad Baltimore beat the donks.. Never cared for Denver all these years, not too sure why, haha..

The Giants are a really good team, so the Eagles played well and won.  If you had been a 1-6 team, you would have won easily.

Hey Greg, please don't misunderstand my comments.  I'm a Vikings/Favre fan.  I'm not hoping he gets hurt, that's the last thing I want!   But here in Mpls many fans are worried about his endurance and that's what we've been joking/talking about with our Packer friends....how long he'll last.....can Tavares step in....etc.

I want to see him in the Super Bowl, that would be awesome.  But remember, Vikings fans are masochists.  We know our Super Bowl legacy.  0-4 baby.   We're hyper-realists.  LOL

Anyway, no need for this tone in here....my comments were completely joking, not intended to PO anyone.

Think your SB chances improves greatly as the chemistry between Rice and Favre grows...
