This legendary German guitarist and composer is famous for his solo instrumental music on 6-string and 12-string guitars. 

Starting out in the late 70s with folk combo Wacholder, Steffen
subsequently discovered the music of steel string raga pioneer Robbie
Basho, which changed his musical outlook forever and saw Steffen
appropriate Basho’s surname his name as a mark of lasting respect and
affection. 

Steffen is an absolute master of the 12 string and open tuning acoustic formats.

His playing is a fascinating and magical foray into unorthodox styles
and sound ideas which combine North American Indian, Far Eastern and
Northern influences with old steel string traditions, European classic
and a devoutly experimental aesthetic. Don’t miss the chance to see
