Just finished this Italian band who released this album in 1976, recorded in Germany, borderline heavy prog but probably closer to hard rock:

"I have seen the broken sky turn blue."

Jim, I know you've called this one of your old favorites--I've only been able to find their compilation.  Am I missing enough from this album to continue trying to find it?

Well, in my opinion it's the only Rousseau album anyone needs.  Smooth, rather sunny music that almost sounds like early neo and symphonic.  Closest RPI comparison might be Locanda delle Fate but the Rousseau album is completely intrumental.  Nice Camel-smooth lead guitars and some flute.

Unless you like that sunny symphonic sound you could pass.  Very nice album, I enjoy it quite a lot, but I cannot call it essential.  I'd say keep looking, but don't spend a forture.  Unless you want my copyLOL
