Just a poll so we can avoid breaking a rule which must of been broken in the other thread.

Other wise continue on an avant adventure.

when the art of avant garde can be seen as a parody of the established view of art, is the parody of avant garde itself art or merely a parody of itself as art?

when the intention behind the art is the true form of the art and its execution merely the expression of that intent, does the execution of art without the original intent qualify as art?

or does the intention to create art without an underlying intention count as a valid intention towards the creation of art?

when a work of avant garde art pushes the boundary of abstraction does further expressions of art upto and including that new boundary fail to qualify as avant garde?

when the ultimate expression of abstraction is to do nothing, is any expression of art where the artist does something truly avant garde or is it entrenchment to a previously established form?

If people understood about art there would be no need for avant garde.
