I mean I wrote the bio for Vial Information and reviewed the first one " Vital Information " To get the ball rolling I have all these albums but until someone else reviews a Vital information album I won`t write one. I was thinking of Writing A Coryell review this week because I finally have a bit of time .I think it`s kind of  ludicrous for the guy who wrote the bio to review every bloody album and then that`s it. You have one guys opinion. I had the same problem with Octobre until Sean Trane started writing some reviews. We`ve got to put caps on reviews for albums such as Close to The Edge, Dark Side of The Moon and ITCOTCK if we`re going to overcome this problem. Just write something like Sorry we have too many reviews for this record.

If you owned a second hand record store are you going to buy a Crime Of The Century record by Supertramp everytime A guy comes in witha load of albims to sell?

I know this may sound like bitching, but who care.

If you gave the first review a spot with the "specialists" im sure you would motivate more first reviews.
As long as the first review are moved to a side, and not shown in full length, people will still prefer to review an album, that more people are checking out, to get a top spot with the artist at least for a while.

Everyone want the 5 sec. of fame, no matter if you like it or not.

Some people only got the more known albums, if you do that, they cant review at all.
Not that i disaggree, i try to review mainly less known albums, but where do you cut the line.

Hmmm. I believe I have more than 10% of mine as first reviews actually. Then again I'm cheating a bit, since I have suggested quite a few of the ones I get the first review for...

Keep all those DSOTM, ITCOTCK, CTTE reviews a comin`then.

I m serious, if I see another CTTE review on this site I`ll eat my underwear. What the freak more can be said about this album??

This first review thing is bullsh*tt. A review should be inspired. I`ve written a few but not because I wanted to be the King Of The Castle for a while. Well then just to be the King Of The Castle I`m going to start reviewing the Vital Information albums.

As for people who have just the more well known albums then I ask what is this site for? To get to know the lesser known ones would be my answer. I`ve been introduced to a few bands that I had never heard of here and have actually written reviews for them.

I`ve written a few reviews for some of the better known bands because, believe it or not, I encourage people to come and check out the site ( I even have a link on my crappy personal website ) and the first thing they want to see are my critiques and there has to be something familiar in there.

I dunno give me another beer

That's fair as far as I see it. I suppose there are some albums that somebody added, but only he (and few other people in whole world) knew them, so nobody is going to review it, because nobody have this album, know about it, or wants to do it.

I added just two albums, but I reviewed both of them instantly, that's just how I think it should be done.

Also, isn't there a way how to remove all these endless singles, because I'm sure they takes maybe half of this list (at least), but are far from being even half a quality of second half. If I were to choose if single, or normal studio album, I would choose studio. For example all these Jethro Tull and The Beatles, who's going to review them ? Nobody brave in sight :-)

I see we have review #469 for TLLDOB I said I`d eat my underwear if I saw another review for CTTE but LLDOB is good enough for me. I`m setting the table right now.

Don`t get me wrong I read the thing and it`s a good review but we just have too MANY.

The guy who did the Blind Illusion just enlightened me to the fact that Les claypool and Larry Lalond were in a band together before Primus

These "first" reviews are musical equivalent of virgins, aren't they ? :-D (I'm not anti-feminist, virgin can be boy too, right?). I'm doing them from time to time, but this week, I had few "top" albums, most prominently Anno Domini, Bubu and Bacamarte.

But also few first reviews, or at least first collaborators review.

Of course. It's unusual for me, but I already planned to review his studio album. I had to buy his live one, but it's quite thrilling to do review on request.

Hehe.

But am I the right person to do it ?

EDIT: I also uploaded better cover for studio album. Live one has quite good one.

Two spins now, few spins before, interesting music I have to say. Of course, it's dominated by violin and as violin experimentation album it's masterpiece, but other instruments here sounds like just accompanying their leader, string instrument. Which is great though.

I also edited the tracklist.

^ Those f**kers stole my idea of naming an album with symbols rather than words.

Well . . . okay . . . they don't know I exist . . . but damn, is it hard to stay creative when so much Prog is coming out these days! lol
