Oh, Mike, being a Pearl Jam fan I guess you've heard Mirror Ball? I almost bought it very cheap a couple of days ago, but decided to drop it in favour of some jazz albums. Is it any good?

I don't have any Rush yet... And I haven't been convinced to buy anything by them yet

Crimso, Rush, what other classic bands are you missing out on?

Hmmm...
Camel, Black Sabbath, Frank Zappa...

Probably a couple more. I've been listening to a lot of new prog lately though!

I'm beginning to think that about a lot of prog, mainly because I've been using the average review rating as a parameter for buying music lately...
Biggest mistake in that regard was probably Dream Theater's 6DOIT.

Ah, it's a Neil Young album released in 1995 with Pearl Jam as his backing band Wink http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mirror_Ball_(Neil_Young_album)

Study for tests I don't particularily care about, not to mention the constant annoyance of being poor. But anyway, tommorrow is another day... yes, cliches can be good sometimes.

I don't think listening to all my depressing prog/music is helping either.

Enjoy not having one, as long as you are not paying for too much basic neccessities (or any) you've got the good life locked in. Trust me.

You got any happy prog ideas for me?

Bah. Green Day appeals to me as much as acne up my ass Wink.
But thanks for the offer anyway.

I'm gonna see Dio in December though. Should be nice. The old demon-pixie!

Nothing SW, obviously...

Can't really think of much "happy" prog as such, but thats more less-depressing than most I guess

Big smile

Used to play this one and Holiday in a band me and a couple of friends had a couple of years ago.
Holiday was kinda fun though, when you really up-punked it a couple of notches Wink

Music was happy enough, lyrics were a little morose. I think Zappa might be in order, that guy is seriously happy/eclectic/interesting/humourous.

You don't like acne up your ass? Shocked

Oh well, fair enough. I've been trying to sell the ticket for a reduced price at Last.fm, but nobody has taken the bait (well, I sold one for almost the original price, but there's still one left). Now I offered it for free, let's see if anyone wants it.

Yeah. If I had a friend that was going I'd probably have tagged along. But me, alone, at a gig with a band I just don't like and a couple of hours in Stockholm + a train ticket to get there and back again...nah. Still nice of you to ask Smile
