Ah, it's a Neil Young album released in 1995 with Pearl Jam as his backing band Wink http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mirror_Ball_(Neil_Young_album)

I don't have any Rush yet... And I haven't been convinced to buy anything by them yet

Crimso, Rush, what other classic bands are you missing out on?

Hmmm...
Camel, Black Sabbath, Frank Zappa...

Probably a couple more. I've been listening to a lot of new prog lately though!
Prog is overrated Tongue

I'm beginning to think that about a lot of prog, mainly because I've been using the average review rating as a parameter for buying music lately...
Biggest mistake in that regard was probably Dream Theater's 6DOIT.

Oh, Mike, being a Pearl Jam fan I guess you've heard Mirror Ball? I almost bought it very cheap a couple of days ago, but decided to drop it in favour of some jazz albums. Is it any good?

I have two copies of all pre-90s Camel albums, but I don't have a functioning turntable so I can't listen to the vinyls Tongue

I've done it with one disc, Yes' Relayer, and because the CD was the original CD release, the quality was awful when compared to the remaster. I never actually noticed it before I compared them though.

I can't say how good the remasters are, because I only bought the albums I didn't already have... If you already own them, I wouldn't bother re-buying them just for the sonic quality.

I still think the best thing done in remastering was adding studio drums to the original tapes for Porcupine Tree's Up The Downstair and The Sky Moves Sideways.

I'm a bit tempted to get the Beatles stereo remasters, but I think not after all, since it took me so long to collect all the original cd versions. There's too much new music to buy to spend my money on stuff I already own.

That's the only fragment I can remember from that night Tongue Usually I dream of things like accidentally leaving a piece of bread on the table and later being shocked when I find that it's gone DRY Disapprove LOL

I'm going to repurchase the entire catalog, to be honest. CD and Vinyl, because they re-released both.

Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow, whoo!
