Do you like bashing?

Sometimes I wonder why certain threads get started, especially if they are composed of highly combustible issues and likely to become hostile. Is it fun to be generalize and become offensive, especially with people from cultures you only understand through questionable media and false perceptions?

Answer this... is your country, governement, customs, religions, individuals unassailable, without fault or crime or misery? Probably not. Glass houses and stones don't mix well.

You decide.

I never start anything but threads about music...so I never instigate it...if someone starts a political thread or such....then it is fair game!

I say religion! Though I'm very tolerant, nothing makes me feel more lost than when thinking about religion. And either way, I'm the one getting bashed for my point of view, cos apparently I'm an ignorant bitch for not having one. It's created by humans! Those same humans that are supposed to think themselves. I'm not saying there's nothing, I do believe there is... but not in the shape of any religion. Religion is evil, "God" isn't. What an amazing manipulating power.

Hmm. Seems self defeating to me - if you bash only people that bash, shouldn't you therefore bash yourself?

On many sites I've visited, people who just pop up to give someone a hard time, or just make generalised, denigrating comments are called trolls, and people that respond to them are troll feeders.

Resolution?

Don't feed the trolls!

On to more interesting matters, did you know that golf (the sport) is actually an acronym for Gentlemen Only, Ladies Forbidden?

Or that wife stands for Washing, Ironing, Feeding, Etc...
