Gorguts - Obscura

Horrifying! But really groovey and experimental.

It is good stuff.  I need more of their albums, all I have so far is this and Official Live Bootleg: Jersey Tomato.

In that case, you've heard "Mei," but the album version is four times better.

I would recommend The End is Beautiful also- brilliant.

I'm planning on getting basically any of their albums which are still in print.  Definitely a band worth getting their albums based on what I've heard of this and the sample mp3s here on PA.

I would recommend starting with the superb albums As The World and Suffocating The Bloom.Then move on from there.

@the Progtologist:  I was thinking my next couple would be Suffocating the Bloom and The End is Beautiful.  I'm not sure, though.

@Walter: Nice choice. Clap

Oh my God I'm using my randomizer method without physically loading the discs into my carrying case (they're in storage right now) and it's telling me to play this:
Radiohead - Kid A CD Cover Art
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Hawkwind - Hall of the Mountain Grill. First listen.
With magic, you can turn a frog into a prince.
With science, you can turn a frog into a Ph.D. and you still have the frog you started with.

Kansas Kansas album cover
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.
