Hows it going Joel?Seeing as we are in similar time zones
Pretty average.
Still not enjoying having to go on Outward Bound next week and four essays
I know this is probably pretty cliche advice but you need to take advantage of this Outward Bound and turn the negative into a positive. It could be a great growing experience for you.
Oh boy. The Backstreet Men are making their comeback and they are on Conan.
Outward Bound is one thing you absolutely hate when you do it, but love it afterwards.
That good old bonza bush tucker. Don't forget the Vegemite mate.

Bro. Vegemite is Australian.Marmite is for real men, aka, Kiwis.
Vegemite > Marmite if you like to eat pure salt.
Marmite > Vegimite if you like to eat the pure essence of unhappiness.

Hahaha, you're going to Outward Bound? When I was younger my mom threatened to send me if I didn't go outside more!
My school considers it to be a "rite of passage" and all that jazz. Its compulsory unless you have a legit medical condition (broken bone, the flu etc) or unless you get your parents to complain to the school for a month until the school gives up.
I'm just gonna bite the bullet with this one, but probs not enjoy it.

I for one would hate having to do that. The whole group bonding thing usually bores me to death, not to mention there are no outlets to charge mp3 players in the wilderness.

You're not even allowed to take anything like that... No "home comforts" which includes books
Its likely I'll get placed with the group of pr*cks in my year who make me hate school aswell, so probably going to be a sh*t experience overall

Being in constant company with other people for 10 days would be torture for someone as introverted as me.
Same here - I know the 3 other kids who I share a bivvy (sh*tty tarp which is meant to be a replacement for a tent) with, but I don't really consider them "friends" as such, and one of them is the most annoying child I know.
The other people are likely to be douchebags, which make up about 95% of my school grade.
