You cannot fix things overnight.  Indeed, he likely won't be able to fix things in one, or even two terms.  However, he can do his utmost to do so.

Unlike the Republicans (and many Democrats) who just make it all worse, not only by doing nothing but also doing the wrong thing too.

Sure, Obama will make mistakes but he's a genius compared to the past 15 years of US government.
