You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

The signature is due to change soon...new album, new sig. And sorry, I don't think you'll like this EP. If you didn't exactly care for Still the Waters, you are sure not to like this. Stay tuned for the next full album though...I suspect that may be more your thing. Edit: My review list isn't centered for me. Edited by Epignosis - October 08 2009 at 17:05 |

I'm running on an old computer running a relatively old version of IE. Well I had specific reasons for my opinions on Still the Waters, and songwriting was not my issue with it. Of course, if you were add in some avant-metal, I wouldn't cry any.

What about reviews with bad English language ? I know that I'm doing mistakes from time to time (from sentence to sentence), but some of them are really hard to read and understand what he meant. Just review-related topic : ) |

There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

There is something awfully terrible about this review, I just can't put my finger on it......

That review is just an example of bad work. Unorganized, stream of consciousness, no theme, difficult to parse english.
Didn't anyone learn how to write a paper in high school or even elementary school?

I just read some more of his reviews.... Damn! It's like he's writing using english words but lithuanian grammar mixed with arameic punctuation and deep in a roman-greek pseudo-post-ambientalist philosophical approach...
Classic reviews....

I actually undertand his points so they canīt be that bad. I can meantion others that are far worse. Some of them so bad I donīt understand a word. Iīll let others be the boogie man though. I hate to disappoint people by putting them down when they really try to do their best.

Is it fine for people to write the minimum number of words to qualify as a review instead of a rating without mentioning one thing about the album?

He can't, it's beloved review :- |, there's nothing he can do about it, as long as it's beloved. Oh and I corrected my first review a lot. And am going to correct it even more. |

I don't have any problem with the contents of this as the reviewer always writes very well but can someone explain the rationale behind this curates egg approach to masterpieces i.e. parts of it are excellent ? Akkerman's Tabernacle was rated 4 stars by the same source who deemed side two of said album a 5 star effort ? So why not 5 stars for this critter as well (just to be consistent ?) ...I seriously doubt he's listened to them all.
(I'm also surprised the backlash against Moonspell's addition is as subdued as it is.)

Like I said Dean, it's a borderline call, if you want to take some action on this or make some deletions, feel free. The vendetta against one band is a bit extreme, you have to wonder what his/her beef is, ex-member, ex-girlfriend/boyfriend of a member, satarized their lead singer ala Chili Peppers vs Mike Patton, ha ha. there is a case for ratings manipulation there for sure, maybe I'm just lazy and jaded, ha. |

Although he states hes reviwing a different album, it seems unfair that the double CD gets the one star rating.

I think it's wrong to review like so altogether.
More and more people are getting hold of this Millenium Collection unofficial release, which is just the first CD from BBC. Previously, members reviewed the bootleg, but the album was removed from database. This time, this member conveniently makes use of BBC Sessions' entry page to review MC. Since things don't work that way, the review should be removed. |

Just lost another review that I spent about an hour on.
Par for the course I guess. And my friends wonder why I don`t trust computers. My bank hates me because I refuse to do banking online ( paying bills etc. ) I don`t even use my bank card and hate using credit cards. I drive them nuts when I go in person. When I flew in the air force the TFR would f*** up a lot and they killed a few guys during the time I was in. I dunno. C`mon Duke let`s go for a walk in the forest and you can chase some squirels. I didn`t even know where this belonged so I put it here because I finally found this thread. Edited by Vibrationbaby - October 29 2009 at 10:20 |
