Ahhh... My gut feeling seemed to be telling me I preferred Bondage Fruit to Univers Zero, and tonight's short investigation is already comfirming that.

edit: urgh... but neither of those are Friday night music. I'm brain dead on Fridays. I don't watch smart movies or listen to smart music on those days. Le Orme was okay because I watched about 2 hours of How I Met Your Mother before putting it on.

^Yeah, I can understand that! I don't really know Bondage Fruit, but I like it. That's why I suggested you UZ.
I'm finishing Opeth's Ghost Reveries. After that, I'll put ELP's Brain Salad Surgery on.

Hey, Luke. Anything new?

Evening, Alex. Not much new here..but I did give the new Diablo Swing Orchestra a listen today, MUCH better than their first alsum IMHO. I felt the first one became stale after the first 3-4 songs...not so with the new one.

@Epignosis, I got the ol' "Harvest Collection" 12 pk. It has Boston Lager,Octoberfest, Irish Red, Cherry Wheat, Brown Ale, and Dunkelweizen...wanted to taste ones I haven't had before. Thumbs Up So far I like the Cherry Wheat best.

Lucky!

I've got birthdays coming up, so I'm way too strapped to go there just yet.

I went to Ardene (well, you're a guy, not sure you would know what that is)  to pick up 1 or 2 girly things to put on my niece's birthday present, and I ended up up spending 53$ on socks, and hair stuff, and accessories. Embarrassed

So yeah, my niece is getting 8 pairs of neon coloured socks as part of her gift. Confused

I need to hear Diablo Swing Orchestra. David quite likes them, I believe.

I would agree. I've given the second one a good 5-6 spins so far and it just sounds better and better each time. Unlike their first which I burned out on pretty quickly.

I can't wait till she's grown up enough for me to buy her music.

I guess at 7, a best of Queen wouldn't be so bad, and would be kid-friendly enough. Is there any sort of kid friendly prog?

I suspect she'll grown into some sort of emo though...

My sister, musically, is a desperate case. She listens to stuff like Simple Plan, for "rock", and lots of crappy-rappy music Thumbs Down She's thirteen.

Do you want to cry with me, Joel? LOL
We should teach them, while they're still young, don't you think?
June, I guess it's still time for you to show good music to your niece Wink

Wait, your sis is the one who doesn't use tissues to blow her nose, right?

I wonder how I could protect my niece from rap and Simple Plan...
