Hello everyone, I am Brother Bartholomew.  In case anyone is interested, I host a progressive rock radio show on WSUM 91.7 fm on Fridays from 10pm - 11pm (central US time).  I realize this is a shameless plug for my show, but the station is entirely non-profit (a student radio station), so I have nothing to gain from you listening other than the knowledge that people are listening.  Plus, you can call in and make a request..err something.  If you are in the Madison, Wisconsin area, you can hear it on 91.7 fm, or if not, you can stream online at:

www.wsum.org (just click the listen now tab)

Tonight, you can expect: Maneige, Rovescio Della Medaglia, Campo Di Marte, Modry Efekt, and more...
Please check it out...if you want.

Here is last weeks playlist:

1. Giraffes?Giraffes! Intro
2. Yes - Long Distance Runaround
3. Jumbo - MIss Rand
4. Lucifer's Friend - Thus Spoke Oberon
5. Trace - Snuff
6. Sammla Mammas Manna - Langt Ner I Ett Kaninhal/Way Down a Rabbithole
7. Riverside - Volte-face
8. Crack - Descenso en Mahellstrong
9. SBB - Strategia Pulsu
10. The Morningside - The Wind

Love that Lucifer's Friend track, so I will definitely be tuning some day, if I can.
Trendsetter win!

I wouldn't get that station by me, but you've got a pretty nice setlist (I love that Morningside song). Thanks for sharing!

I have an ocasional show too but I play more psychedelic stuff such as Hawkwind, Guru Guru, Jane Brainticket, Amon Duul 2, Grobschnitt etc.. Everyone at the station thinks that I am off my trolley. Most of the other shows play Indie bands, Reggae etc.
I have actually played
Ride The Sky by Lucifer's Friend a couple of times and everyone thinks it,s either Sabbath or Dio.

My Dear Progheads,

To anyone who may be interested, I will be hosting another edition of Progressive Rock Radio on WSUM 91.7 FM from 10pm-11pm (Central N. America time) this Friday.  This can be streamed online at:

www.wsum.org  (just click the listen now button)

Special Guest:  Professor Dane Bernard (PhD Monster/Ghoul/Cyborg Studies) will be giving a brief discussion on his current research as well as revealing his shocking theory of a monster-to-prog development paradigm.  Also, the playlist for tomorrow may or may not include:  Anglagard, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Jacula, Ved Buens Ende, and Buon Vecchio Charlie.

Here is last week's playlist:

1.  La Grande Fuga - Rovescio Della Medaglia
2.  You Were But a Ghost in My Arms - Agalloch
3.  Quinto Tempo - Campo Di Marte
4.  Can-Utility and the Coastliners - Genesis
5.  Armageddon - Modry Efekt
6.  La Princesse Perdue - Camel
7.  Waren Wir - Holderlin
8.  Les Aventures de Saxinette et Clarophone - Maneige
9.  The Warren - Fen

Thanks for listening!!
