Weeeellll - technically the pub is called The Vine, but all the locals call it the Bull & Bladder after the butcher's which used to be next door...

Now that looks like what I'd call a proper Pub
Here's my local - The Railway Tavern - pool table, dartboard, bands every Saturday, Sky only on for footy rugby or cricket. Norfolk Ales and guv'nor Dave knows his stuff - he founded the first Beatles Appreciation Society in Norfolk and used to do "Norwich Ghost Walks" in full Jack The Ripper Outfit. He;s also got the biggest collection od Dylan memorabilia I've ever seen
We even get tribute band "Pure Floyd" playing off the back of a 38-tonne trailer in the garden every summer

Nice looking local there
Just a pity that our local, despite being a true haven for any real ale fan, is just another Stevenage estate pub on the outside...

I've seen a lot worse estate pubs than that Jim - and I bet you have too! (And they do say it's what's on the inside that counts )

Good Idea - spread the word
I'll bung one on of my second local, Bar Sport in Llucmajor in a week or two - Cafes y Soberados permitting, of course.
I'm so excited about seeing ACYL's pub I'm not going out til he's posted

Ok, I can't find a picture of it, but imagine your average pub, built circa 1940, with neon lights and a front yard covered in drunken students.

Hello mate
The Pool team's still going strong - I play with some of the guys on a Tuesday and they really are brilliant players. I'm no slouch myself but i can't live with some of them a lot of the time. One mistake and that's often it
Typical Shed - one post about a Pub and it quickly gathers global momentum
