Toshinori Kondo - Fukyo:

A samurai with a trumpet, how could I have resisted? It sounds more like a mechanical whale than a trumpet though. Pinch Wacko

StillpointHard HandsBarretto Rican/Struction Con Adalberto SantiagoThe Message
Madder Lake is for my wife as much as me. It is one her fav albums from that period and it is a great Aussie prog album ( 1973). She has already lifted it and its gone to her carLOL She has been crook (sick) lately and I thought a surprise might cheer the old girl upHeart

Back at the world music shop yesterday and picked up the 3 Barretto albums and that will be it for me with the Barretto Fania releases as it is really the Jazz as much as the Salsa I like on his albums. The ones that he did with Celia Cruz are more Celia Cruz than Ray and even though I like Celia Cruz, Its the Jazz bit  that gets me with RayThumbs Up There was nothing new out that interested me. That bloody Reggaeton has taken over in the past few years. I can handle it in short bursts only. 3 songs and I'm doneBig smile

I've not heard that for nearly 30 years (maybe longer, actually). Thanks for the suggestion - I'll try and hunt down a cheap copy
It's not that I can't find worth in anything, it's just that I can't find worth in enough.
