So, if you love the site, why don't you come up with your real identity and offer genuine suggestions? I agree with you that the site could be better, but are you really sure this is the right way to go about things? That said, every site has its own peculiarities. On another important prog forum, discussions about politics and religion are discouraged - here they aren't. I don't really see the big deal in the censoring of expletives - I use them occasionally in real life, but I try to do so in context, and don't particularly like seeing posts peppered with the 'f' word. Just my two cents, of course.

There are only few proggers who have a sense of humor, and none of them can be found on this site.
I think the site is pretty uptight sometimes, but I don't think it's bad. There's a lot of music appreciation/discussing and in the end that's what the forum is about, isn't it? If things would be less uptight, I think more rubbish and trolling will appear, which now is rarely seen on the forums. Also, the Just for fun section on the site isn't that uptight... and most of the posts on this site are in that section I believe.
