Topic: Time Out / Days of Future Passed Posted: September 13 2009 at 20:51 |
I remarked earlier today that Dave Brubeck's Time Out and Moody Blues' Days of Future Passed had some similar covers. And they're both great albums. Which one is your favourite?

Time out by at least 10-15 billion light-years.

Days Of Future Passed.
Time Out is nice, but I really only really like 3 or 4 songs whereas DOFP is nonstop deliciousness.

A further note, why was this moved to general polls?

Maybe someone thought this was about just the covers? Which makes sense to me, but the move still doesn't.

Pretty much the opposite with me, I think all of Time Out is excellent and find parts of DOFP to be not quite up to par.

Both are great.
I've only had Time Out for not that long, and I've had Days... for years. Nonetheless, I'm leaning towards Time Out.

it's one of those albums I'll be buried with... one of my parents favorite albums and grew up listening to it..
another one of those album you just hear in your head... without ever putting it in the CD player...

Time Out by a mile, though DOFP is a good album.
I don't see that much similarity in the covers though

I own both albums but would have to say "Days" as an LP and "Time Out" as a single.
