Oooh nice. I have to save it for Saturday probably. My Fridays are full of work and relaxation thereafter.

Mmmm.... so many memories.

To think that about I year ago, I was coming here to get some noise recommendations. Where would my life be without RPI (well, actually, people almost NEVER talk about RPI in here)  or Nurse With Wound?

Good night birdwithteeth! Sleep tight.

I was going to suggest Comus, I absolutely love First Utterance. That album should at least be in the top twenty. I think I shall listen to it right now. Cool

Recommending First Utterance to someone with tastes like FBG sounds like a baaaaad idea. LOL

Wot!?!

She likes Jethro Tull. All the Tull fan I know like First Utterances.

All right, so maybe she'd need something in between Tull and Comus to ease her in, which is why I suggested Spirogyra.

Comus is way too weird, is what I think he means.

But it's DELICIOUSLY weird. Shocked

I can't argue with you there, I love First Utterance.

I must listen to too much prog, I didn't even think about Comus being weird. LOL But now that I think about it, they do have a rougher sound than Tull.

Another band I discovered recently was Gnidrolog. They sound folky too, btw.

The weirdest thing, I was thinking of starting a prog folk thread earlier.

Say, how's your Selena twin?

Embarrassed Haven't seen her because I didn't go finally to the same clubOuch

Tomorrow probably I will go, though. BTW, tomorrow(actually today) it's 'teacher's day' in my country, so... Happy teacher's day Robert! ApproveTongue

Well, though I am no longer a teacher, I appreciate it!  Smile

Is it only in your country?

Good thing I took the day off to see the doctor Tongue

So teaching still hasn't panned out, Rob?

Nah...I work at home now.  I like it!  Smile  It's a huge pay cut though.  Ouch

Mmm... come to think of it, I don't want to be cleansed of psychedelic or garage rock, or blues either.

Or Cream. Or even Lynyrd Skynyrd. Or CCR. Or The Who.

Classic rock kinda rocks, no? Ermm

Gnidrolog isn't doing much for me, but thanks for posting it, A Person. I'd heard the name and had been planning on checking them out.

Ougenweide is cool, if you like medieval folk, and don't mind German lyrics:

And Rob, well, sorry about the job. But I guess if you're satisfied with your work at the end of the day and your family is happy, the paycheck is not too too much of an issue.

I've got to check them out. Smile The list of music I want to listen to keeps getting longer and longer... not that that is a bad thing.

Instead of Comus I decided to check out Gryphon. I'm currently listening to Red Queen to Gryphon Three, and loving every second. So much time, so little music to listen too.

Classic rock is generally the residence of happy-ish people. It's understandable why you hold disdain for it. Wink
:( I don't even something clever to say, that's how bad it is!

And I much prefer Comus to the often slightly annoying Jethro Tull.

That's because I like long songs about Virgin Rape and Insanity more than songs about being thick as a brick. LOL
