Hi - me again
Probably works for you. Wouldn't work for me - most producers and artists, especially in progressive genres put a lot of thought into the flow of an album, the interplay of one track against the next, the transition of emotions from one texture to the next. The experience of an album is the whole experience from beginning to natural end, from the scene-setting of the opening track to the conclusion of the closer. I tend to give the producer the credit he deserves and listen to the whole as it was intended to be heard.
...however I have tried it on
Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness though I wouldn't recommend it for
Death's Design by Diabolical Masquerade.
