From the same song: Thunderheads are rumbling
In a distant overture...There are tons more but Permanent Waves as a whole has good lyrics.

"In their own image their world is fashioned No wonder they don't understand"That really gets to the heart of everything, doesn't it?

I have two particular favourites, both of which I think ring very true:
Quick to judge, quick to anger, slow to understand Ignorance and prejudice and fear walk hand in hand ("Witch Hunt")
And the things that we fear are a weapon to be held against us ("The Weapon")

There's just so many aren't there....
+1 to all the suggestions so far, but one that always sticks in my mind is from Red Barchetta
Drive like the wind Straining the limits of machine and man Laughing out loud With fear and hope, I've got a desperate plan
It's not just the lyrics, its the way they interpolate with the music at that point of the song - wow!

What, nobody likes
One, zero, zero,
One, zero, zero,
One, zero, zero
One ... in distress!

Jack, Relax, get busy with the facts, no zodiacs or almanacs, no maniacs in polyester slacks just the facts, Gonna kick some gluteus max, it's a parallax you dig, you move around the small gets big it's a rig It's action, reaction, random interaction, so who's afraid of a little abstraction, can't get no satisfaction from the facts, you'd better run homeboy, facts a fact from Gnome to Rome.
Whats the deal? spin the wheel, if the dice are hot, take a shot, play your cards. show us what you got. what youre holding, if the cards are cold, dont go folding, lady luck is golden, she favors the bold. thats cold, stop throwing stones, the night has a thousand saxophones.
So get out there and rock, and roll the bones.
Get busy!
Words to live by right there folks, the night DOES have a thousand saxophones Neil.

Wheels can take you around
Wheels can cut you down
We can go from boom to bust
From dreams to a bowl of dust
-between the wheels
Nowhere is the dreamer Or the misfit so alone
Any escape might help to smooth The unattractive truth But the suburbs have no charms to soothe The restless dreams of youth-Subdivisions Just a reminder everyone: Only brief snippets of lyrics are allowed. Please don't post complete songs. So far so good

Our great computers fill the hallowed halls!
If only someone had told Geddy about microprocessors! Or at least told him to lay off the alliteration. ;-)
