  Has anyone heard any of the music by the prog metal/power metal band Dragon Force. I was just wandering because im going to see them in october and I dont know much about them.

they're really really good. i've seen them live twice but the sound was really bad on both events. so hopefully it'll be better for you. buy their album called "Sonic Firestorm." excellent album... but i wouldn't really call it prog. well... they are kinda prog in some ways but not totally.

Not prog, I've seen them in London about six months ago, hell of a good time I had too. Not really my kind of music and not serious at all (at least I hope not) but a lot of shreddy happy fun

ye gads. they're awful. I heard them at a mates house. I was amused by the lyrics. Think Manowar, and times the "cheese" by about 5 times. well maybe not, but just as bad. As goose said though, shreddy happy fun.
