I started a thread on this very topic ages ago and now I can't find it - there was a particularly good snap of a butternut squash with a copy of Hot Rats that I was rather pleased with.

Anyway, here's a picture of a very large carrot (now on its way to becoming most of a carrot cake) with CD insert for Nursery Cryme:

Can anybody beat that?

I might have to buy a root vegetable just for this thread.

Jesus that carrot is gigantic. What they put in the soil out in Englishland?

Thanks Dean - and I've also managed to upload my Tarkus/spud picture as well; I'm sure you'll agree that it's one of the best photos of an ELP CD surrounded by potatoes that you've seen all week!

The only camera I would be able to take a picture with and upload it has been missing for months. I would take a picture of CTTE with a nice green onion if I could.

Well literally several people have looked at the pictures I've posted so far, so I've decided to go for it and add another!

This time I've gone for that old favourite, a parsnip with Stand Up by Jethro Tull:

Beat that, fellow proggers!

I'll have to find my photo of a signed copy of Relayer sitting on a mound of daikon radishes.

Does my 35 year old Relayer vinyl that's nylon casing looks like it was splashed with a giant tomato count?

That would be awesome! And thanks for the kind words, Snowie!

How 'bout this carrot (no CD to it, though):

Ah yes - one of the great joys of autumn is finding humorously shaped root vegetables, and that's a splendid specimen. If only there was a copy of, say, A Farewell To Kings in the picture as well....
