Sorry to hear that, what happened with the first option?

We put an offer up at first, but then heard back from the other realtor that there were multiple people bidding on it. Everyone had to put up one last offer (blind---so without knowing what anyone else bid), and then the highest offer would be taken.

We must have been overbid.

I've been on both ends of that scenario - when I was a buyer I was fortunate to have the winning contract even though outbid - the other guy's prospect of financing was shakier than mine.

Ah, yeah, we were hoping that's what would happen if outbid, but I suppose that didn't happen.

I figure it'll work out though; maybe it'll end up being good that we didn't get that house.

Have a safe trip!  And say hi to my aunt for me.  My dad's sister lives in Seattle.  I have only met her once and that was 23 years ago.

I have Saga at 32.
Hmm, it's been a while since I listened to something by them.

What is funny is that the Beatles are my 2nd most listened and your 4th most listened band, but they weren't listed.

Yep, but you would think that it would somehow or another pick the top 5 with the highest rankings between us, or at least the top combined amount of plays or something like that.  OH well, not a big deal.
