Part the Second is not better than Thin Air...

You're ratings are warped, Rico!

*yawn*

Remove that extra something you've given Thin Air simply for being a Hammill, bare it down just to Hammill's solo output, and you get my grade.

It's not final statistic, though. There's still much more music to come.

And please don't forgot to respect one's musical opinion. Stern SmileWink

It's enjoyable, yet downright awful compared to ( ).

Actually, I lie.

Agaetis Byrjun is not enjoyable. It is over-saturated ambient-post, giving total headaches.

I am not entitled to explain the phenomenon by which Agaetis Byrjun is so popularly appreciated.

( ) doesn't change stripes drammatically, but it makes it all worthwhile. Brace for some tearful nordic-cold melancholia, though.

It was late at night and I was tired.  I'll play that whole album today, hopefully.

The first is a lot better than the second, I think.

true dat

The first three tracks of Aranis are almost concerto-like. They sound excellent together.

I think the epic track is at once forced and a tad cliche in some respects (we can start with the title).

But "Late Night Salvation" is absolutely killer- a fantastic piece in every respect and I can't wait to hear it again.

And on another note, if you search for "IZZ River" here, the search engine asks if you actually meant "jizz river."  LOL
