Considering there are quite some avantgarde nuts on this forum, I'm surprised there's nothing about Kayo Dot's first European tour, starting in a couple of weeks. Many dates are still to be confirmed, but however there are also many confirmed dates, including some in the English leg of the tour:

(This is from their MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/kayodot ; TBC means "To Be Confirmed").

I have ordered tickets to the first show, when I happen to be in London with my gf. Hopefully I'll also be able to attend one of the latter two concerts in France, if they'll be held in Paris.

And this is from their website: "We are in the process of getting together a majority of our older material (Choirs of the Eye and Dowsing Anemone) to present on this tour, since it has never been played in Europe. " Sounds great!

This would be so much cooler if it was an USA tour.

Just found this on the bands MySpace page, http://www.myspace.com/kayodot, and their website suggests that the majority of materiel will be from Choirs of the Eye and Dowsing Anamone with Copper Tongue. I believe these will be the bands first ever shows in the UK.

EDIT: Cant copy-and-paste list of dates as it seems to well and truly screw up the page.
Obviously they are still looking for a few venues but I now need to find a way to get to Bristol on the 13th.Big smile
Spending more than I should on Prog since 2005
