Surely worse than Metallica doing Nu Metal is a Nu Metal act doing Nu Metal?

I'm thinking primarily of Limp Bizkit.

I hate that band.

Tarkus is also pretty sh*t.

Not even Tarkus saves Tarkus.

For some reason, that cracked me up. Maybe it's my sleep deprived state. LOL

I'm going to beat you until the blood runs. AngryShocked

Seriously though, it's the worst album ever IMO, so idk if we can ever talk with each other again...

Wink

I don't like Metallica much anyhow...

But Scarsick is the worst album ever (I mean prog-related anyhow).

Scarsick sounds like a little slice of heaven compared to St. Anger

Srsly though, JJ. The production isn't supposed to sound that muddy. It's because no one in the band knows how to produce their own albums.

Plus it sounds like Metallica trying to do nu-metal and making it sound even more awful than nu-metal. Dead

Ah, but to each his own I guess. LOL

Don't get me wrong, its not a GREAT album. Like I said, 3 out of 5.
And I have no doubt they can't produce their own...I have made no mystery here I hate Lars, and I think Kirk is over rated. Actually James has surprised me and he's probably the best musician. Anyway, its a decent album.

I think I may write a prog song 9.58 seconds long called Usain Bolt.

Lyrics:

Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosh.

But what genre of prog?

9.58 seconds is miniscule.

I hate being mature, especially when it means ending a funny "feud" with someone....yet it felt good.
BAH! I'm getting old, on the bright side....I'll be 21 soon!

Metallica's St. Anger and Nightwish's Once were the only albums I had no business with, but bought to impress two girls that liked the bands.

The Metallica one dumped me a day after I gave her St. Anger. OuchTongue

Wasn't a bad move from the start. She asked for St. Anger.

I guess the album messed her up good. LOL

Thoughts of a lazy afternoon:

1. I haven't seen Rachel (Concentration Moon) since the day after she introduced herself. Did we scare her so badly? LOL

2. Echolyn judgement day: Mei 4.5, The End Is Beautiful 4, Cowboys Poems Free 3.5 - the rest going to Forgottenland.
