let's just stay above the moral melee prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword

I think it's a bit sad there's not a bit more love for the band around these here parts - I once had the Hard Stuff and Bullet spin-off albums which were pretty good hard rock too. I think John DuCann was involved in both but I can't find either anywhere now. Any ideas?

I agree as it has to be their best album - but some don't agree... obviously

agree with first three. i love atomic rooster..
such a talented musician, vince crane and very sad his early departure..still to this day the band is still very much underrated.. i dont think they were maligned like uriah heep were by the press for years..as someone mentioned just excluded..pity..listen also to headline news, their last release..a solo project by crane under rooster's name with dave gilmour lending his solos on couple of tracks..this album is still very much ignored or undiscovered and although not up to par with earlier releases, still contains very good tracks, like headline news, hold your fire, carnival, and metal minds...

Death Walks Behind You
Atomic Rooster
In the Hearing Of
I think they arenīt maligned, but excluded by many people. (sometimes is more effective to praise pink floyd that trying to discover the fantastical band was Atomic Rooster)

A recurring pattern here I see - not surprising.

#1 Death Walks Behind You (some excellent Heavy Prog stuff) #2 Atomic RoOoster (great mix of styles, all focused on Vincent's mighty hammond) #3 Made in England (enjoyable funky stuff)

I've only listened to Atomic RoOoster and Death Walks Behind You. I heavily prefer the first.

Malagined??????????????
Not by me - i used to love 'em in the Seventies.
1. Death Walks (I've got this one on mp3 as well as vinyl)
2. In Hearing Of (used to have the vinyl, sold it years ago)
3. Made in England (never owned it, only heard it a couple of times so it has to be #3)
I really hope I'm wrong, but I can't imagine that many people, even on the mighty PA, will have even heard all three
