Oh, not much.  Bouncing back and forth from PA and work since I got this great little promotion.  I'm like middle management.  Cool

Awesome. Is said promotion more money or just a change in job title?

I don't think I've ever gotten a nosebleed. At least I can't recall ever getting one.

Vernal Equinox or Actress?
Actress.  I haven't heard Vernal Equinox yet.

The Lobsters don't change dramatically, but Actress is slightly better.

That is good to know.  I'll have to see if I can find that one.

Don't ask, considering that I've played practically every sport under the sun and had a few twisted ankles at most. Never broken any bones either. Cool

I find it hilarious that people have to ask that.  LOL

But no.  No more money.  Disapprove

Actually what it means is that when things are slow, I still have work, whereas before I didn't, so in a roundabout way (in and around the lake), I will make more money.  Big smile

Plus it's a freaking cakewalk.

A Cakewalk on Easy Street.  Cool  (I just finished listening to that song LOL).

No shattered skull either, and almost no surgery (but I discovered I had adenoid removal when I was 4 - but they sedated me, so I thought I slept in the hospital for two hours LOL).

I do have a history with bruises and nosebleeds, however.

They are eclectic.  I'm not sure of a good description.  Kind of Pink Floyd meets King Crimson and joins forces with Steely Dan and Chicago.

The song that I am currently listening to "Bed" actually has Chicago style horns.

An attempt to reproduce how Art Zoyd's debut vocally starts.

Scott, before you close the book on Horslips I seriously recommend giving "Dancehall Sweethearts" a listen. Tain is a song cycle and a concept, so it's a tad thick and can seem samey on the first listen. Dancehall is a lot more accessible and song-based, so it might be a good jumping point for you.

but if that fails then all hope is lost

There is something neat about the Celtic sound that I do really like, however, it always seems to have the same sound no matter who it is that is playing it.  I'm not sure if that makes any sense or not.  Kind of the, OK, I've heard that before.  I haven't closed the books on Tain yet.  I wasn't really listening all that close to it.  Deeper listens might provide deeper insight.

This tetralogy worked better than I expected! All albums opened wide my senses. Fabulous music.

Black Oni sounds better, so I suspect listening to it together with Five Suns creates the thought that the first parts are samey.

As for K.A., the wild thought of considering it my favourite Magma is slowly installing.

Art Zoyd's album remains fantastic, while Heresie remains a masterpiece.

It also summarizes the avant mutations I've suffered this whole year.
