Ewwww look at all that Rush on the list! Otherwise great list! Interesting that you like Dowsing more than Choirs and Leitmotif more than the rest of dredg's catalogue.

And yes this was quite difficult, and I already realized I forgot two important bands in my list, not to mention other great ones I knowingly omitted for lack of space. I couldn't imagine doing an accurate one including all genres. I do have fun with these kinds of things though, to an extent.

Can't help my Rush roots, and I've been probably the biggest proponent of the DAwCT is the best Kayo Dot album. Also, Leitmotif just has so many cool riffs on it I love it to death.

Trying to do this without the prog limitation would make my head explode.

Just giving you a hard time about Rush. My roots just happen to be outside of prog for the most part. I'll grant that my favorite Kayo Dot song is on Dowsing (Immortelle is just so beautiful) and both are fantastic albums. Leitmotif does have sweet riffs but I can't get passed the weak production and rougher vocals on it (only in contrast to the incredible sound of both on later records).

Why must my spell-checker continually underline the word "prog"?

I actually have 11-12 entered and about 4 to go. What's rough is when someone has 50 of their 100 as unique albums to their poll...but it keeps things interesting.

3 more to enter, I finally have more than 200 albums with more than 100 pts, meaning more than one verson voted for the album and greater than any album score with only one vote. I'll do my countdown from 200.

But we have another week to go....

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Alright, all the data so far is entered....

      885 albums
      21 polls

The leader is ahead of #2 by 169 points.
7 albums with more than 1000 points (2100 would be perfect)
PA's #1 album is not in the top 5
Porcupine Tree and Mars Volta have the greatest upperward moves compared to the current PA list.
One album not even in PA's top 250 is in this polls top 40, and vice versa.

Alot of familiar faces, but not in typical order.

That's intriguing, the results will be surprising, I'm sure... Tongue
      Les mains, les pieds balancés
Sur tant de mers, tant de planchers,
      Un marin mort,
      Il dormira

      Intriguing, yes.Approve

Why must my spell-checker continually underline the word "prog"?
