I think the variety of surname can extend to anything. I've certainly heard many bizzare Romanian surnames.

What ticks me off - and find it, I'm afraid, idiotic - is to give to a child the same name as the surname.

Dragomir Dragomir

Oh, cut down the "in the underwear" part, if you change the title.

There was a kid at uni named Sophocles Sophocles.

Well there's two footballers called Phil Neville and Gary Neville and their father's name is Neville Neville.

I've also come across a George George but he had the middle name of Edward.
