Ah, the High School years . . .

God, I hated that place. If I were you, I'd be scratching off the days 'till graduation on my locker wall. LOL

So sick of school

I'm semi looking forward to leaving, but then I have to face the prospect that I'm no longer a child and have to work for forty years

That's why you become a musician! Wink You get payed to have fun. (Then again, maybe you shouldn't listen to me. I'm among the 'starving artist' demographic, so what do I know?)

I've been playing piano for ten years, but the only problem I've had so far is forming a group with friends at school... My two technically able friends (Who play Bass and Guitar... Very, very very well) are interested in playing Obscura-esque metal, and my other friend, who is great at singing and writing is only interested in indie or hardcore
I'm planning on recording some of my more proggy piano stuff, but I don't have any decent software

Well hopefully my collaborative online project will turn out quite well and inspire you to seek out the long-distance alternatives. Wink

Or it could just suck and confirm to you that picking an honest job is the way to go. Embarrassed

It takes time, but no worries. If you really want to make music for a living, you'll find away, no matter what.

Lateralus review has been commenced!

I'm aiming for around 1400 words, so that I can also have some time to finish my review of STUPID DREAM...

(I wish more people would comment on my poems at the Poetry #too -thread (the title of which I still find incomprehensible), like they do at my art thread. Should I start my own Poetry/Prose on Request -thread in Just for Fun, or would that be a bit too much? Maybe I could use the Art thread I already have for all kinds of arts (drawings, poems, music . . . but not sculptures or video installations)? Any suggestions? (Please don't ignore this post.) (I just googled "art on request" and Vompatti's Art on Request Service was the second result to come up. Is this amazing or what?))

Nope, mine is better!
And I don't aim for a word count. I just go.
Although my reviews for Tool were QUITE long. I think it's because the band is so pretentious I just can't help but ramble
