Mattfest

Do come and join us for Matt's very belated 40th or early 41st birthday party.  As it his 40th a lot of his favourite bands are doing an all dayer.

To celebrate Matt's Birthday we've hatched a plan to provide a day of top Prog. It's a chance to see some very rare performances all on one day. It will also be The House of Progression's first ever all dayer.

Advance tickets £12.00 doors 1.00pm.

The Bands and Artists!

GALAHAD*
HAZE*
CASUAL AFFAIR/CREDO*
FINAL CONFLICT*
SUMMER INDOORS*
PRIMITIVE INSTINCT*
JOHN YOUNG*

On sale now phone 020 8546 3516, for a great day of brilliant music!!

But I cannot guarantee he won't be in a jumpsuit.

To celebrate a lot of progging over the last 25 years, happy birthday Matt.

Smile

Could you provide some details of the venue please Mick. Looks like London, UK (I've added London to your heading) but bear in mind this is a global forum.

Who is Matt?

Nice line up by the way, do the asterisks mean anything?

Yes this is the Peel in Kingston, near London.  Matt is a very dear friend of mine who I have known for twenty years.  We met through our love of Fish and I have been to many a prog gig in London Town and further afield with him.  He loves his neo prog and had asked last year about many of his favourite bands doing a little thing for him but obviously he needed a suitable venue.  That is where our good friends Mick n Twang from The House of Progression come in.  So ten months after his 40th - MATTFEST!!

It is why it is so cheap, only £12 in advance and £15 on the door, the bands are doing it as a birthday present to Matt, South London's biggest prog fan for the past 25 years.  Or prog stalker.  LOL
