Topic: Favourite Jon Anderson track? Posted: August 06 2009 at 02:41 |
Evening folks!
Never ventured to this part of the forum before, but I thought I'd ask a question...
What is your favourite Jon Anderson solo track?
He has quite a few excellent albums (Olias Of Sunhillow, Song Of Seven and Animation come to mind) and they all have some genuinely excellent tracks.
Mine would easily be Song Of Seven - And its also my favourite song of all time, uncontested.
Evening
-Joel.

Solid list!
As you can tell from my Avatar, OLIAS OF SUNHILLOW is my favourite album ever... Easily.
FLIGHT OF THE MOORGLADE, and the two other tracks you mentioned would be the stand-outs, easily.

Hi,
Olias of Sunhillow ... beginning to end ... it's not even a song, it's a symphony!

I like most of Anderson's solo work. Much of it leans toward pop but he does it well. I'll put my two cents in for Song of Seven's "Take Your Time".

I have a soft spot for EarthMotherEarth, even if it is a bit sugary. Can't name a certain track though, the whole album plays like one long track to me.

Joel
I quite like the Olias album but can't really pick out a single track, it would be unfair
I have not delved in the rest yet, so no vote really

Hi new guy here I would have to agree with Olias which I have always thought was an underated album. Also may I add to me the best parts of Yes were the quiet Anderson vocal bits ie soon from Relayer.

Exactly my choice, silly or not!

I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.
