Hey Boys Wink!  I'm quite new to this forum thing, but I have recently heard some prog music that I really like and wanted to get more of it.  The prog I get into would include Pink Floyd, The Decemberests, Neal Morse, and some of Porcupine Tree.  The prog I most dislike is Rush and Yes (Jon Anderson and Geddy Lee have horrible voices in my opinion).  Oh...and that high-pitched, screechy, give-me-a-headache synthesizer stuff has to go.  I am a wife and a mother of two children, a boy and a girl, and enjoy every moment of it.

By the way....I have played bass in one show Wink.

Since you play bass, you get a pass for not liking Yes.
Welcome.
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

I'm guessing you'd include Radiohead in with those then. LOL
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Thanks for the welcome all of you, but some of you people are just plain weird.  Wacko  Especially Logan.

Anyway, I think my reviews will shake things up around here, because I'm really shocked about the way people have rated certain albums.  But I'm working on them!

You know that synthesizer solo in "The Revealing Science of God?" Yeah, worst moment in music.

Nothing's really shocking around here. Most  people have a set of albums they don't like, like I rated SFAM with a 2. In fact, people probably will praise you more for having unique tastes than anything.Confused

You're right actually, we're a weird bunch.Big smile

On a serious note,

I like your nick. Seems you're a Queen fan too.

Welcome aboard! Thumbs Up

BTW, you're 26 and you already have two children? You must have started early. I'm almost 30 still don't feel ready for that. Tongue
